If you need your spirits lifted, check him out. He kind of reminds me of Jason Mraz, who is also positively entertaining.

Celebrating 4/20 with sushi and glass blowing
Today is 4/20, national Weed smoking holiday. I celebrated by visiting a local head shop while waiting for takeout sushi, and watched the guys blow glass, which is very impressive.
I didn't take a video today, but here's one i found on YouTube, if you don't enjoy the glass blowing at least the song is catchy.
I wonder what taking a "half-hour break" is like for the people who work there...
Also, Urban Dictionary users celebrate today with the phrase "marijuana minute"

Also, Urban Dictionary users celebrate today with the phrase "marijuana minute"
Definition: A seemingly long period of time. It occurs most often when under the influence of marijuana due to the altered state of mind. An actually short moment may seem to drag on forever.
~It took me a marijuana minute to eat my sushi today.
A rising trend makes March Madness about more than just basketball, beer and brackets
Dear Men,
Were you able to watch the March Madness tournament this year without having to get up? If you're answer was no, then I'm here to help you out.
There is one catch. You cant have kids anymore, so before trying this tactic, please be aware that this is an irreversible procedure.
If you're still interested, read on.
When March Madness comes around, its time for basketball, brackets, beer, and a vasectomy. Over the past few years, more men have been scheduling this procedure during NCAA tournament, so that they can watch the games uninterrupted.
It's a sure bet you'll be on the couch. The only thing you'll need now is a beer runner, a pizza delivery number, and a remote.
Read about it here.
OR, even better, watch Stephen Colbert talk about it in the video below

Helping the world one lipstick at a time
Love, M.A.C., Gaga. Three things that may mean nothing to you, but they are three of my favorite parts of life.
In defining each of their roles in my life:
Love makes me happy.
M.A.C. makes me pretty.
Gaga makes me dance.

Love makes me happy.
M.A.C. makes me pretty.
Gaga makes me dance.

M.A.C Cosmetics has come together with Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper to introduce two new Viva Glam lipstick shades.
(Click on pictures to view products: Right, Viva Glam Gaga; left, Viva Glam Cyndi)
Gaga and Lauper are idols to many people, and they are both brilliant musicians with a colorful insight on style; so when they team with the world renowned M.A.C. Cosmetics, it's a big deal.
But that's not the only reason this makeup launch is so awesome. Mostly, its awesome because Viva Glam is a foundation that supports people around the world infected and living with HIV/AIDS.

When people love you, they follow you. Way to go ladies, using your prominence to help the world!

No tear gas this year at MSU's Cedar Fest

The Final Four events sparked the East Lansing crowd last Friday, and even after a tough loss to Butler, Michigan State students and fans gathered in the streets of Cedar Village to celebrate going to the final four (and maybe a little bit of yelling in anger of the loss).
Either way, its a big deal, Cedar Fest is a ritual that I think everybody should attend at least once. Not to be involved in any of the rioting, or getting arrested (which, the past two years, hasn't been too bad) but it's a get together where thousands of students can express their school spirit by chanting "GO GREEN, GO WHITE!" Or singing the MSU fight song.
Watch a video of Cedar Fest 2010
and if you want to watch the riots and tear gas from past Cedar Fests (very entertaining) watch the video below.
